Bruce D Martin, CA and Business Advisor
Bruce was born in Porcupine Plain, SK. He attended the University of Saskatchewan where he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce Degree. Bruce articled with Price Waterhouse in Calgary, AB where he obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1975. Since then, Bruce has been a CA as both an employee and partner in Pincher Creek, AB, Camrose, AB and Port Alberni, BC. In 1990 he bought an Accounting practice in Kamloops, BC and has been here ever since. Bruce specializes in small to medium sized business in all industries.

Marcelle La Hue, BBA, Operations Manager/Team Accountant and Business Advisor
Marcelle has lived in Kamloops since 1997 and began working for BMA in January 2008. She graduated with her Bachelor of Business Administration, with an accounting major, from Thompson Rivers University in April 2011. Marcelle is the Operations Manager for BMA and her main responsibilities involve the daily operations of the business which includes accounting, human resources and marketing. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Tammy Vicars, CA and Business Advisor
Tammy was born and raised in Kelowna, BC. She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration with an accounting major at UBC, Okanagan campus in 2002. She was employed with Grant Thornton LLP during the time she was earning her degree and went on to achieve her designation as a Chartered Accountant in 2006. After working for Grant Thornton for nine years Tammy moved to Kamloops in October 2008 to join our team. She specializes in small to medium sized businesses and, being raised on a ranch, has a strong agricultural background. Tammy enjoys horseback riding and is involved with the Kamloops Soccer Association.

Bev Leinweber, Technology Manager/Team Accountant and Business Advisor
Bev is the Office Manager for Bruce Martin and Associates in our Clearwater office and Technology Manager for BMA. She has been with us since January 1998. She has 20 years of business experience in service industries as an Accounting and Office Manager. Bev is one of our experts when it comes to accounting/bookkeeping software. Bev enjoys the outdoors and is an avid golfer. Bev is also working toward her Advance Certificate in Accounting.

Sandra Penny, Team Accountant and Business Advisor
Sandra has been with Bruce Martin and Associates since 1990. She graduated from the University College of the Cariboo with the Accounting Technician Program in April 1991 and the Advanced Certificate in Accounting in April 1998. Sandra spent many years working at our Kamloops office but has been working full time at our Clearwater office since August 2007. Sandra was involved with the Lions Club of Kamloops for many years and now is just as active in the Lions Club of Clearwater.

Donna Rogal, Team Accountant and Business Advisor
Donna provides bookkeeping services for several clients, specific to their needs. She has over 20 years experience in bookkeeping and accounting and has been a part of our team since 2001. She has completed Certified Management Accountant – Year 1 and an Advanced Certificate in Accounting with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC. Jaclyn (Jackie) Borho, Team Accountant and Business Advisor
Jaclyn started with our firm as the receptionist/bookkeeper and then, after attending University College of the Cariboo in 2003, she became one of our accounting technicians. Jaclyn believes in delivering to our clients the most prompt and professional service possible. She is also the one to call to sort out your GST questions. Among other outdoor activities, Jackie enjoys playing ball on our slow pitch team (Bruce’s Bookies).

Tammy Taylor, BBA, CGA articling student and Business Advisor
Tammy has lived in Kamloops for the majority of her life and graduated from Thompson Rivers University in April 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an accounting major. She came to work for our firm the same year and is currently articling with BMA to obtain her designation as a Chartered Accountant. Tammy is very active in the community with her coaching duties for her soccer team and her ongoing volunteer work with the Canadian Cancer Society. Josh Harrison, BBA, CGA articling student and Business Advisor
Josh was raised in Armstrong, BC until attending school at Thompson Rivers University in the fall of 2003. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, with an accounting major in 2007. Josh worked at Sprott-Shaw for a year before coming to work with us at BMA. Josh is currently articling with us to obtain his CGA designation. Josh has coached baseball, hockey, and lacrosse in the past and is currently a proud member of the Senior Rattlers Lacrosse team and treasure of Kamloops Minor Lacrosse. Josh is also active in and enjoys numerous other sports activities.

Suzanne Crickett, Office Manager
Suzanne was raised in Langley, BC and spent most of her adult life in the Kootenays. She moved to Kamloops in 2006 and has worked in public practice as a bookkeeper ever since. Suzanne came to work with BMA in the fall of 2008 and brings with her ten years of bookkeeping experience. She enjoys being a wife, mom & grandma which keeps her quite busy, along with playing the piano, knitting, reading and just enjoying life with her family.

Robin Butler, BBA, Team Accountant and Business Advisor
Robin grew up in Salmon Arm, BC and moved to Kamloops in 2002. She completed her diploma in Fine Arts in 2005 at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) and then returned to TRU in 2006 to complete her degree in business, with an accounting major. Robin speaks French, Japanese, and English. When Robin is not attending university part time or working at BMA she enjoys designing and knitting artistic creations in wool or silk or playing one of her many musical instruments.

Guodong (Laurence) Wang, BBA, CGA articling student and Business Advisor
Laurence was born in Tianjin, China and came to Canada in 2006 to study business with major in Accounting and Finance at Thompson Rivers University. He came to us as an experienced Co-op student with 3 co-op terms completed in the finance department of a large corporation in Grande Cache, Alberta. Since he joined our team of accountants, Laurence has completed his degree and begun articling for his CGA designation. Laurence speaks Mandarin and English. He enjoys most outdoor activies, such as hiking, skiing and golfing.

Carmine Kleindienst, BBA, Administrative Assistant
Carmine was raised in Merritt, BC and moved to Kamloops in 2002 to attend Thompson Rivers University. Carmine graduated from TRU’s Bachelor of Business Administration program with a major in accounting in October of 2009. As our administrative assistant, Carmine is the first person you will see upon entering our offices. She works closely with Bruce and Marcelle to ensure our clients receive the best possible service. In her spare time, Carmine is an avid runner and dedicated clarinet player.
